Overview

Florida Pharmacist License Renewal
Each session is approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy for 1.0 contact hour(s) to meet requirements pursuant to Section 465.009, Florida Statutes, and Rule 64B16-26.103(1), Florida Administrative Code.

Pursuant to Rule 64B16-26.103(1)(j), Florida Administrative Code, presenters shall receive 1.0 contact hour for each course contact hour presented. Pursuant Rule 64B16-26.103(1)(j), Florida Administrative Code and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Guidance for Regularly Scheduled Series, presenters may not repeat the same educational activity (i.e. same content) on a different date to the same audience (i.e. under the same universal activity number and/or the same CE Broker tracking number) for additional credit.

Pursuant to the ACPE Guidance for Regularly Scheduled Series, attendees are eligible to receive 1.0 contact hour for each session in which they participated.

Requirements for Successful Course Completion

Credit Designation
This Continuing Pharmacy Education program is approved for a total of 1.0 contact hour(s). You will receive credit for this activity through NABP's CPE Monitor system within 72 hours following the activity. Please go online at that time to view your statement of credit. For more information about CPE Monitor, go to www.cpemonitor.com. For pharmacists registered in Florida, credit will also be reported to CE Broker.

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Review relevant disease states and/or operational considerations encountered by pharmacists at an academic health system.
  2. Describe key pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and/or medication management strategies that support both clinical and operational decision-making in pharmacy practice.
  3. Discuss emerging literature, therapeutic advancements, and/or administrative considerations that optimize medication utilization and healthcare outcomes.
  4. Evaluate new policies, protocols, technologies, and operational improvements that enhance pharmacy services and workflow efficiency within an academic health system.

Continuing Pharmacy Education Requirements
Pharmacy continuing education credit will be earned based on completion of this activity. To receive continuing education credit, your completion must be verified, and a program evaluation must be completed and submitted at the end of the program. Credit will be issued through the CPE Monitor and CE Broker websites.

Florida pharmacist (or Florida consultant pharmacist) numbers, NABP e-Profile ID numbers and participant’s Month and Day of Birth are required for credit issuance. UF CPE is not responsible for unissued education credits where the required information is either omitted or submitted incorrectly. UF CPE will contact registrants once by email to attempt to obtain missing or invalid information.
